Referring to the new developments in the region in the first meeting, Amir-Abdollahian told Osameh Hamdan and Ali Baraka senior members of Hamas that Israel was forced to remove the electronic gates just after the Palestinians unanimously resisted against the aggressive moves of the Zionist regime.
Thanking Iran for supporting Palestinians, Hamas representatives said that the Palestinians consider al-Aqsa Mosque their own property and won't let the Zionists invade it and resisting against Israel will continue until the liberation of Palestine.
In another meeting with a mission from PFLP headed by Abu Ahmad Fouad, the former Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs said that many-year experiences show that the only way to regain Palestinians' rights is resistance.
He added Palestinians groups have chosen the way based on logic and pragmatism, and the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to support them as strongly as it can.
Fouad said, 'While many regional countries are trying to normalize their relations with the Zionist regime, Iran is the standard-bearer of combating Israel and the cause of liberating Palestine.'
Iranian Ambassador in Beirut Mohammad Fathali, too, attended the meetings.
